findata Privacy Policy
findata is an accounting application operated by Calvert Capital Advisors LLC, doing business as Stamm & Co ("Stamm & Co", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information findata collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the findata application at app.stammco.io and to the text messages and emails findata sends.
Information we collect
- Account details you give us: your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and, if you choose to add one, your mobile phone number.
- Financial records you upload or connect so that findata can keep your books: bank and card statements, invoices, bills, receipts, payroll and employee records, and similar documents, together with the ledger entries findata builds from them.
- Usage and security records: sign-in activity, the IP address and time of security-relevant actions, and the delivery status of messages we send you. We keep these to protect your account and to show you what happened in it.
How we use information
- To provide the service: importing, classifying and reporting your financial records, and giving the people you authorize access to your workspace.
- To secure your account: verifying sign-ins, delivering password-reset links and sign-in codes, and keeping an audit trail.
- To support you when you contact us.
We do not use your financial records for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
Text messaging program
If you add a mobile number to your account, findata may send you account-security and account-service text messages from Stamm & Co: a single-use password-reset link when you request one on the sign-in page, a one-time sign-in code when you choose to sign in by text, and a short confirmation when you text a statement file to findata for upload.
- Consent. You opt in by entering your mobile number in the optional "Mobile number" field on the findata sign-up form or in Account Settings on your own signed-in account, and ticking the separate, unchecked box agreeing to receive these texts. Consent is not a condition of using findata. Texts are sent only in response to an action you take.
- Message frequency varies with your own activity and is typically 0 to 5 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel, or remove the number in Account Settings. Reply HELP for help, or email jeff@stammco.io.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions: the provider that hosts the application and its database, the provider that delivers our text messages, and the provider that delivers our email. Each receives only what it needs to perform that function. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or ourselves.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Retention and security
Your records stay in your workspace for as long as your account is open, so that your books remain complete. You can delete uploaded documents from within the application and can ask us to close your account. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure; passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and reset links and sign-in codes are single-use and expire within minutes.
Your choices
- Add, replace, or remove your mobile number at any time in Account Settings.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages.
- Contact us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to close your account.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version at this address with a new effective date.
